MJ Abiva is a New York City-based director and media producer specializing in dance, fashion, and cultural storytelling. With over a decade behind the camera, he brings a kinetic, movement-first approach to every frame.
Working at the intersection of art and documentation, MJ has produced content for global brands alongside agency partners, and served as the in-house media lead for some of the East Coast's most prominent dance organizations.
He is the founder of Boathouse Studio and a creative partner with Boat+Bridge and Vibrvncy.
